'View from Great Orme' Sketch

‘View from Great Orme’, Sketch + Photoshop, up to 60cm width as a giclee print. This is a view across Conwy Bay from the Great Orme peninsula. We were in North Wales for a weekend for the end of the Pensychnant Conservation Open show and stayed in Llandudno. I went for a Sunday morning run around the Great Orme peninsula. It was a wonderful crisp, sunny autumn day and this was one of the views. I love the contrast between the grassy slope and path in the shadows in the foreground, the sands at low tide with water channels and reflections and the silhouette of Snowdonia in the distance. I’ve been fascinated exploring the image and finding different patterns in it the more I look. Big screenprint to follow.
