'Cliffe Creek', sketch + Photoshop. This is a picture looking across Cliffe Creek at low tide with London Gateway container terminal on the horizon. The inter-laced valleys of mud weaving across the creek are amazing. I've deliberately lightened the tones of the mud flats to emphasise the contrast with the lichen-speckled wall in the foreground and layers of vegitation, the port and hills beyond in the background. I'll be working on a screenprint version, and maybe a black and white linocut as well.
