‘Richmond Riverside’, screenprint, 99cm x 74cm, edition of 8. This is a view from the Thames Path near Richmond at dusk and a high tide earlier this summer. It’s a departure from my usual focus on blocks of colour and has more emphasis on a painting-type quality with reduction layers of block-out paint.
I’ve got various ideas for my next picture, including staying on the Thames theme with a view of the foreshore at Battersea, or trying to capture and explore wonderful scenes from our holiday in Spain at and near Camping El Cares campsite in the Picos de Europa.
